One of the most well-known attractions in Cherry Grove is the Cherry Grove Pier. The fishing pier is privately owned, but daily and seasonal passes are available. Hurricanes have done their damage over the years, but the pier has been rebuilt each time, since it was first built in the 1950’s. It is ready for your next fishing trip.

Fishing in Cherry Grove

With 985 feet of fishing fun, the fishermen in your family will enjoy a day at the Cherry Grove Pier located at 3500 North Ocean Boulevard in NMB. Fish caught at the pier include Spots, Flounder, Sea Trout, Angel fish, Red Drum, Pompano, Sheepshead, Mackerel and Whiting. You may see crabbers pulling up blue crabs with nets and traps. Most kids will love to try their hand at dipping for crabs. Ask the attendants at the bait shop what is biting that day. Better yet, take a visit and see what the others are catching at the pier.
